Defeating Election Anxiety
If you've broken out the chips, ordered pizza, poured multiple glasses of wine — or whatever your stress relief vice may be, you're far from alone.
At this point it is looking as though this may just turn into an Election Week. It could be a good time to consider diversifying your coping mechanisms.

BREATH.
Guided Meditation
Go for a walk or do 15 minutes of yoga.
Write down your thoughts.
Eat well balanced meals.
Get a massage.
Dance and sing aloud to your favorite songs (Volume up).
Facetime someone who makes you laugh.
Accept that you cannot control everything.
Engage in a creative activity, such as drawing, painting, or writing.
Read a good book or watch a funny movie.
Do some chores or organizing around the house.
Create a routine.
Get enough sleep.
Burry yourself in a warm blanket.
Start a new Netflix/Hulu series.
Try a new recipe.
Take a bubble bath.
Start a bullet journal.
Give yourself grace, and do your best!
